Want to learn how to dance? Want to perform in front of a large audience? Now is your chance! Join the Siena Athletics Dance Clinic and perform at halftime of the Men's Basketball game at MVP Arena Sunday, January 28. Registration will begin at 10:30 am at MVP Arena. Please meet in front atrium. This is where you will be able to pick up the tickets you have purchased for the event. Please note that when you purchase the dance clinic participant ticket this will include a ticket to the game and an official dance clinic t-shirt. Your child will learn the dance from 11:00 am-12:15 pm. We will meet you on the side of the court at 12:15 PM to return your child to you. At 2:30 PM please bring your child to the floor behind the band for us to take them to practice. Half time will take place at approximately 3 pm.
The Dance Team clinic is in honor of Sophia Rossetti who passed away in 2010 from leukemia at age 6. Sophie loved life and loved music and dancing. She impacted so many lives, especially those of her friends at Veeder Elementary School in Colonie, NY. She will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. As a dance clinic participant, $5.00 of every registration will be donated to the “For the Love of Sophie” Foundation to help families in need of financial assistance during treatment at Albany Medical Hospital.
